Magento web shop software
Our web shop has been developed with Magento software. The personal data you make available to us for the purpose of our services, is shared with this party. Magento has access to your data in order to be able to provide us with (technical) support. Magento will never use you data for any other purpose. Magento is required to take appropriate security measures on the basis of the contract we have concluded with them. These security measures consist of applying SSL encryption, a strong password policy and secured data storage. Magento reserves the right to share the collected data within its own concern and affiliated partners in order to further improve the services. Magento shall take the applicable legal storage term into account.
Web hosting
Our web shop has been developed with Megento software, but we have chosen another company to handle the web hosting.
The personal data you make available to us for the purpose of benefitting from our services is shared with this party. Our web hosting party has access to your data in order to be able to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Our web hosting applies legal standards in regard to taking appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Regular back-up are made in order to prevent the loss of data.
E-mail and mailing lists
Our website uses an external party to handle the e-mail traffic from our website and to send newsletters. All confirmation e-mails and web forms you receive from our website are sent from the servers of this provider. The execution and management is handled by our own staff. Your name and e-mail address will never be used for their own purposes.
At the bottom of every automatically-sent e-mail from our website you will find the “unsubscribe” link. When you click on this link, you will no longer receive e-mails from our website. However, this may seriously diminish the functioning of our website!
Payment processors - Buckaroo
To handle (a part of) the payments in our web shop, we use the Buckaroo platform. Buckaroo processes your name, address, place of residence and payment information such as your bank account number or your credit card number. Buckaroo has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Buckaroo reserves the right to use your personal data for the purpose of improving its services and in that context, to share the (anonymized) data with third parties.
All of the above-stated safeguards in regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the other components of Buckaroo’s services for which they hire third parties. Buckaroo saves your data no longer than is permitted by law.
Reviews
We collect reviews from the Yotpo platform. If you write a review on our website, you are required to submit your name and e-mail address. Yotpo will share this information with us so that we can link your order or treatment to the review. In addition, Yotpo has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. We never publish your e-mail address or your full name, only your first name and the content of the review.
Shipping and logistics
When you place an order with us, it is our task to send it to you. We use the services of, among others, PostNL to carry out deliveries. It is therefore necessary to share your name, address and place of residence with PostNL. PostNL only uses this data for the purpose of executing the contract. In the event that PostNL hires sub-contractors, PostNL will also share your data with these parties.
External sales channels
We sell (a portion) of our articles via the platform of JC Imp. If you place your order on this platform, JC Imp will share your order information and personal data with us. We use this data to execute your order. We will treat your data with utmost confidentiality.
Purpose of the data processing
We only use your data for the purpose of our service provision. That is to say: the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you give us. We never use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data - other than at your request - to contact you later, we will explicitly ask your permission to do so. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality on the grounds of the contract we have concluded with them, an oath or legal obligation.
